    Hey there.

I am looking for a plugin like this for a long time but… its not showing.
I created attributes and gave values to products, installed the widget in the widget area with proper setting but nothing show up (only the regular woocommerce filters)

I see on my side 2 possible problems.
1 – I installed the plugin before creating attributes and giving them values. Is that an issue?
2 – You said in another post that the plugin will only display on “SHOP” page. As I have a localized version of wordpress and woocommerce (french) the name of the page is “boutique” and not “shop”. Can it be an issue too ?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi rifel,

1 – no, everything is ok
2 – name of the page doesn’t matter. You can page as a shop page in the settings of WooCommerce.

If you want me to help please provide link to your shop.

    Regards,

uh ho I seen your answer to Filipe :

It seems the problem came from here as I just gave attribute to 5 product on a total of 150+ wich are not on the same page.

I will wait for you to fix that then.

BTW are you planning to… how well I open anew thread for this one ??

    Hi Filipe,

How many products per page you have?
There is a bug that I’m fixing currently – filter takes used values of the products that are visible on the current page only. So attribute’s values of the products on pages 2+ will not be counted.

    Dima

    Hi rifel,

Please update plugin to recent version and tell me if issue is gone. There were 2 issues in one place and they both can hide attributes =)

    Hi Dima,

I have installed the latest update of ‘Advanced AJAX Product Filters’.

I have followed all of the installation instructions and yet the ‘Advanced AJAX Product Filters’ does not appear on the sidebar. Other widgets do apear on the sidebar, only ‘AJAX Product Filters’ doesn’t. The widget’s code does not exist in the page html either.

Any hint on where I should look?

    Please help…

    Thanks

    Hi Yaniv,

    It should be like this:
    – install WooCommerce
    – configure it, install shop page
    – install filter plugin
    – activate filter plugin
    – add products
    – add attributes
    – add attributes to products with values
    – go to widgets
    – drag ‘AJAX Product Filters’ to your sidebar
    – select attribute and type
    – click save
    – got to shop page and reload it.

That is all. Please try again with this steps.

    Regards,
    Dima

    Hi Dima,

I have done all of this, but in a different order:

    – install WooCommerce
    – configure it, install shop page
    – add products
    – add attributes
    – add attributes to products with values
    – install filter plugin
    – activate filter plugin
    – go to widgets
    – drag ‘AJAX Product Filters’ to your sidebar
    – select attribute and type
    – click save
    – go to shop page and reload it.

Not working – does not appear.

It looks like the widget is not inserted at all into the woocommerce php code. the sidebar exists on the shop page + a seach widget exists on the shop page – but the ‘AJAX Product Filters’ does not exist at all.

Maybe I should try inserting via php. You gave the php code, here on the widget description page – but on which file should I put it? what is the full code? <?php do_shortcode(‘[br_filters attribute=price type=slider title=”Price Filter”]’);?> ?

    Please assist Dima

    Thank you so much

    Hi yanivjs,

Please provide a link to your shop. Check if your page doesn’t have JavaScript errors. They can kill other plugins.

    Hi achchu93,

Please provide link to your shop page.

PS. yanivjs and achchu93, next time please start new topics for your questions because it is too hard to follow everything is one branch.

    BTW rifel,

You have JavaScript errors on your shop page that is why nothing is working there. Start with fixing those.
