    Hi maomaohu,

Sorry to hear you are having problems with the plugin. When working correctly, there shouldn’t be any other steps than those you listed, but something is clearly wrong.

Which version of the plugin are you running? There were problems with the 0.6.x versions released yesterday, so I had to revert the live version to 0.5.13 again.

    Hi Peter,

I’ve noticed that Kebo widget on our site stopped working but I’m not sure when it started. I didn’t use any shortcode, just simply adding the widget to the sidebar. I checked the version of the plugin and it’s 0.5.13.
Our site is a live site https://www.passbrains.com/blog/. Any suggestion?

    Thanks

    Problem solved. ??
Deleted widget from sidebar and adding it back again and now it’s working.

    Hi Ploy,

That is very strange. If you see anything like this again please let me know.

I am glad it is working again now!

    Hi maomaohu,

Thanks for letting me know. I am not aware of any problems using 0.5.13 on multisite at the moment, but clearly there is one.

Is there anything in the error log on the plugin options page? Is the connection to Twitter still okay? Or is that dissapearing?

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the fast response. I think I know the source of the problem now.
If I choose style:list, the widget shows up in the sidebar. But if I choose style:slider, nothing shows up. :/ And again I’m merely adding the widget to the widget area and didn’t use any shortcode.

    Hi Ploy,

Okay, that is strange indeed. I haven’t seen this before, I will have a look to see if I can find a difference between the Slider/List which would cause one to work but not the other.

Is there a chance it has output html, but it is not visible due to javascript running? If you have a Widget title does it display that, or does nothing output at all?

I wish I could answer you regarding the javascript. I’m not very technical and just started to use WP for these past couple of months. The widget title does display, though, regardless whether list or slider is chosen.

    Hi Ploy,

No problem at all. It sounds like the plugin is outputting the content onto the page, but the slider does not become visible until the javascript runs and begins showing slides. It sounds like there must be an error/conflict which is prevent it from running.

Would it be possible for me to see the site with the slider on it? I might be able to pinpoint what is causing the problem for you.

I changed the style setting to slider. https://www.passbrains.com/blog/
    Did I understand it right?

    Hi Ploy,

    That was perfect, thank you.

The plugin is correctly outputting the Widget and the Javascript to run it, but it looks like a javascript error on the page is causing it to not work:

    [10:18:28.431] TypeError: jQuery(...).on is not a function @ https://www.passbrains.com/blog/wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.js?ver=3.1-20121105:23

It is likely another plugin which is causing the error/conflict, it could be many things from including different versions of jQuery to including conflicting libraries. So your options are either:

    1) Find the cause of the problems and fix/replace it.
    2) Use the List instead of Slider.

Sorry I cannot be any more specific to what is exactly causing the problem, all I can really tell is that the Kebo Twitter Feed plugin is working correctly and not causing any errors by itself.

Thanks a lot for your support, Peter. At least now I know what are the reasons the slider is not working. ?? Really appreciate your fast response and great support.

My pleasure Ploy, sorry I couldn’t do more to resolve the general javascript issue. Best of luck getting your site working as you want.
