Not working in Widgets? Short Code or Widget.

    Seem to be having an issue with getting Ads to show in Widgets this morning – been working fine for weeks since I installed the plugin (great by the way – well done).

    All I am seeing now is: [adinserter block=”15″] instead of the Ad.

    Normally when there is a problem – like I haven’t enabled the Ad for a Widget or Page, I get a blank nothing. This is actually showing the short code as text.

    Same Ad short codes work fine if I put them in regular Page content. Widgets don’t work in either Sidebar or Footer.

    All that I can think of that I have done different this morning was to try your own Ad Inserter widget just to see what it did (hadn’t really noticed it before, I was just using a Text widget for the Short Code. I removed it pretty much after I added it. But then 10 mins later when I was looking at a page I noticed the problem.

    I’ve tried using your Ad Inserter widget to show the Ad – doesn’t work either. Won’t show any of my enabled Ads, or the Dummy Widget. The only one that shows is the Dubugger code. Would you like me to add that?

    Unfortunately the site is “hiding” behind a “coming soon” banner as it’s still in development. But if it’s crucial for you to have a look I can unlock it temporarily for you.

    Since you see shortcode instead of the ad (assuming Ad Inserter plugin is enabled ) it looks like your widget positions are not processing shortcodes.

    Looks like it was a problem with the other plugins. Contacted other developer and they updated their plugin – all fixed.
