Widget option missing in Appearance

  • Hello, I’m trying to connect MailWizz Newsletter Box plugin.

    I need to go to appearance -> widget, but I didn’t see the widget on the menu.

    please help.

    The plugin you mentioned is considerably outdated. The last update was 6 years ago: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mailwizz-newsletter-box/

    Back then, content was often placed via widgets. You can still do this today if you use a classic theme. My guess is that you are using a modern FSE theme. They no longer recognize widgets, nor can you use them in this context.

    You therefore have 2 options:
    a) Change your theme to a classic theme. The latest standard WordPress theme for this is Twenty Twenty-One. Then you should also be able to use the widget of this old plugin – at least until there are no problems elsewhere.
    b) Don’t use this plugin and look for a suitable and, above all, up-to-date replacement.

    there’s another option to connect mailwizz to wordpress?

    This is such a special topic that you should rather ask in the Mailwizz forum. There will probably actually be users there who use the combination. A quick search also led me to this topic there: https://forum.mailwizz.com/threads/connection-mailwizz-and-wordpress-elementor.8657/
