Widget Options plugin not working

I have installed the plugin. I want to hide the Archives and Categories widgets on the forums page.

I have done the following settings :

Appearance – Widgets – Main sidebar – (here selected the respective widget and selected Hide on checked pages)

But the settings does not work and the widgets continue to show on that page. Similarly when I try to make any other selections they are not getting reflected. The plugin simply does not seem to work.

I am using Astra theme

Please help where I am going wrong.
