Widget Plugin Now Blocks

  • The new Widget/BLOCKS does not work at all on my site. I can not edit any text in my current ‘widget areas’ Why does this not work?

  • Yep. Me, too. I just updated from WP 5.7.2 to 5.8.2. Installed the Classic Widget plugin and activated it. I’m back in business.

    I noticed an error message that flashed near the bottom of the WP editor that said that there was an invalid JSON response when I tried to save the widget when I was using the block editor.
