    Hi Guido,

I am currently using Elementor with your plugin to list events. However, I am experiencing a few problems with the VSEL shortcode.

    1. In VSEL settings, widget tab, I have opted to hide date, time, location, and content. However, this still appears in the widget? Is there any way to correct this.

    2. On the shortcode widgets, the featured image is centred, with the summary to the left and meta information to the right?

    3. Lastly, I am using Elementor to pull the ACF meta fields into the event post and customise the event post layout, everything seemed to be working fine until I published the event post. The plugin is displaying the date, time and location, outside of the elementor template, to the top left of the screen, which has created a split screen effect?

Unsure on how to fix the problem, as I have basic knowledge of WordPress coding.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

I don’t have Elementor installed myself, but will do this tonight.

    1) On a site without Elementor it does work. So there must be a conflict somehow.

The link goes to a restricted page. Can you fix this so I get access? So I can exactly see what’s happening on your site.

And please don’t use “event” in the events page slug, this might cause a conflict. Using “events” (plural) in slug is ok.

    Hi Guido,

Thank you for the swift response, much appreciated. Do you have an email I may be to contact you on and provide you with a login.

The event page seems to be displaying ok, but once the elementor template is activated that when the problems occur.

Just a little observation not sure if it make a difference. The Meta information is displaying at the very top right of the screen when I activate the elementor custom template. I noticed that the information held within the “vsel-image-info-left” div class displays correctly.

Is there any way to move the mata location to display within the img-info or to hide this with css?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

    Hi,

Was not able to reproduce this issue, with the free version of Elementor.

I don’t want to give my email here, can I contact you via the contact page of that website? Or can you create a temporary demo page for me and give me the URL of that?

    Hi,

I’ve unrestricted the pages, you should be able to access them now.

Yes, you contact me via the website’s contact form if that help.

I have created two demo pages, one with elementor and one without.

    Normal page: https://thepresstent.com/event/fashion-world-tokyo/

    Elementor Page: https://thepresstent.com/event/jacket-required-london/

    Cat-page: https://thepresstent.com/event_cat/trade-shows/

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

My #vsel container does also include whole elementor page setup, that’s strange. I want to take a look at this page in dashboard, so I will send you a message via the contact form.

About the category and single event page, info from my readme file:
It does one thing: it hooks into the the_content() and the_excerpt() function.

If your theme uses it’s own customized version and you visit one of the pages mentioned above, the event(s) might not be displayed properly or not at all.

So I think Elementor or your theme uses a customized version of those 2 filters.

    Hi,

Have updated plugin with some fixes / enhancements you’ve suggested, so I’m marking this topic as resolved.
