Widget Shortcode I cannot get widget to appear

Could you please explain more what’s the problem?
The way this plugin works is that it gives you a shortcode, like [widget id="text-1"] which you can use anywhere that shortcodes are enabled (like in posts or pages content) or using the do_shortcode() function to output that widget anywhere in a template file.

I am trying to make this plugin work and always get literally the shortcode in the post. What am I doing wrong?

Only thing that comes to my mind is, maybe the plugin is not active!
Try using the do_widget function in your template file, see if that works.
