widget sidebar bbpress

  • It looks like this plugin is what I need. I want a bbpress sidebar so I can display search and tags on my main forum page., not just the topic page. BUT…
    a. I have wordpress 6.3 and this plugin is only tested up to 6.2.2
    b. When I go to bbpress sidebar widget I can add the search but there is no option to add the forum tags. The option is Tag Cloud and that is the blog posts tags, not the forum tags.

    Anyway of doing this without the plugin, or using another bbpress plugin?

    I see I can install this shortcode [bbp-topic-tags] for bbpress topics, so I could use this tweaks plugin and put in the bbpress sidebar widget along with search. But again this widget has not been updated.
