Widget – Tag Cloud – configure to display NextGEN Image Tags

  • I would like to display my NextGEN image tags in the ‘tag cloud’ format. However the ‘tag cloud’ widget will only display post tags and categories. Is there a (relatively easy) way to configure the ‘tag cloud’ widget to pick up and display the NextGEN image tags &/or is there already a widget available that will do this that I’m just not finding?

    Okay, I’m embarrassed. I have no idea what I searched on earlier that didn’t return useful results, but I searched again and found numerous posts on topic – including the [ tagcloud ] shortcode, which works almost perfectly.

    That said, I am not finding where I can make the shortcode work in a widget, so I don’t have to display it in a page of it’s own. (I tried making the page with the shortcode a custom menu, but that didn’t work.)

    I’d appreciate any guidance on how to allow display of the [ tagcloud ] shortcode in a widget area.

    I think you just add the shortcode into the Text/html widget
