widget with list of links to a URL

  • is there a way to populate a WIDGET with a list of LINKS that go to an external URL?

    for some reason I am seeing that I can link to a PAGE or that I can put in an IMAGE that links to a URL but I want to put a LIST of TEXT that link to an external page.

    can anyone help me remember how to do this?
