Widget with Random Record

    Wondering if this is possible and how I might go about it?

    Essentially I am trying to create a “random quotes” type widget with the data coming from a wpdata table as the text will be linked to other information I require. Essentially something along the lines of examples shown here: https://demo.happyaddons.com/elementor-card-widget-demo/

    I am looking to display on the front end, a random profile of a record in a database table. So the widget would display the text from particular fields including name, ship and bio. The bio field will be up to 300 words so this field would display either all text or cut off at a certain point. Ideally I’d also it to display a random image from a folder.

    Not sure if this is something that is built in already or would require manipulation of an existing plugin.

    Currently, the only way our plugin can display data on the front end is through data tables, data forms, or chart widgets.
