widget_calendar – where to find the html code?

  • I am using the Calendar archives widget (widget_calendar) included in the dynamic sidebar (For an example see the “WordPress Classic” theme).

    I have already changed the visual styling of the widget_calendar in the style.css file.

    I have found the php file that contains the php code for the widget_calendar (see line 888 of the widgets.php file contained within the wp-includes folder).

    But I cannot find where the html code that is used to structure the widget_calender tables is being called from (ie – the code containing the <thead>, <tbody> and <tfoot> tags).

    Can anyone point me to the file containing the html code for the widget_calendar ?
