I tried using widgets to create backlinks to my twitter page to show my twitter feed. The widget from Jetpack isn’t working and now my sidebar options to drag and drop have been removed. How do I re-activate those widgets? I can’t place anything in my footer either. Ads I tried to place is the appropriate text boxes need a target URL and a Banner URL and Advertisers such as Amazon don’t support this and neither does Adsense. My website is https://www.buellreveiew.com I am a news magazine type site and my intention is the old Saturday Evening Post with modern pics and videos to compliment constantly updated content. Oh one question about tags: Do I add them in the tags section separated by commas like normal? Sorry, But I’m a total newbie to this! lol!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Oh I forgot to mention that on my Admin page, the sidebar where I can place widgets has disappeared completely and now there is just blank space!

Ok, now I have a new problem! I made a typo on a text widget, but there’s is no link to edit or remove it! I can only add them! How do I correct this? https://www.buellreview.com

I don’t have PhpMyAdmin at my host (Hostgator) What I do have is PhP.ini.quick onfig. -PhP Configuration and PhP PEAR Packages. Can I use one of those or do I need my host to install the PhPMyAdmin file?

Hostgator do offer at least 1 database management application. Try asking them about it.

Nevermind. I refreshed the page and php my admin showed up, but I do not have the “Wp-Options” under a options-name column. I couldn’t find that in the “system-schema” either. I’ll try FTP.

I can see this is going to be fun. I can’t rename the file folder either!
