• Last week I had Bluehost install 2.5.1. I started using the 3-column right version of the Cutline theme. I expected the widget admin to have 3 columns. It has two. It was suggested by the author of one of the widgets that I drag and drop the bar from the left column to the other column. It does not permit dragging. Adding a widget from the left column to the right, it stays only until I try to save, refresh or view the page. The admin pages usually tell me I have one or zero widgets. It should say 11. Installing either plugins or widgets does no good if they are intended to appear on the page in any of the 3 columns. Utility programs, such as stats, which don’t display on the page, work fine. The site is at https://www.crawfordharris.com

  • It looks like you got this taken care of. Your site now shows 3 columns.

There are 2 different versions of that theme. One has both sidebar columns to the right and the main column on the left, the other has a sidebar on the right and on the left with the primary column in the middle. You can see them both here if you are interested: https://themes.wordpress.net/?s=cutline

STOP digging up months old post that are mentioning bluehost!

That problem was immediately cleared up by upgrading to WordPress 2.6, once it became available.

I continue to have a minor problem with widgets. The first column of that theme comes with Search, Recent Entries and Blogroll. I am able now to put any widgets I want into the far right column but putting any widget into the first column causes the Search, Recent Entries and Blogroll to disappear.

I think I can live with that little glitch but I wonder how many others might be affected by it.
