widgets and the sidebar

    I am wanting to add an RSS widget to the sidebar which just has links to my own RSS feeds. How do I do this? I’m using the k2 theme at the moment, when I add widgets the normal k2 sidebar bits vanish, not sure how to keep those and add widgets in addition.

    This is how widgeted sidebars work by default. The easiest solution would be to replace your regular sidebar content with their widget alternatives and to add other code or text using text widgets.
