Widgets Area problem subsists
-
There have been several postings about problems with the Widgets Area in WP 5.8.
We are now on WP 6.1 and I am still having the same issues. Is there a solution?I build my WP pages using Co-Blocks. From the moment that blocks could also be used in the Widgets area, I was all in. It created less confusion.
But now, when I go to the Widgets area, a large list of errors show up. And I am aware that the only way to fix this issue is to go back to the Classic editor. The downside of this is that blocks that were edit in ‘customize’ mode, are now displayed in HTML code.
So I find myself toggling between either the ‘customizer’ with handy blocks, and the classic Widget area for other functionality.Where do I go to get this issue fixed, because it is really annoying and time consuming.
In my humble opinion it is the most confusing part of WordPress to work with the trio of Menus, Sidebar Replacements and Widget area.
I have a very simple theme on my pages (Iconic One Pro) and it support all the latest software, so this can hardly be the problem. If it is, I shudder when I think of having to perform a theme change…
Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Nicky
