• Hello,

I needed to publish a few posts, and to prevent my subscribers from getting 20 mails, I decided to deactivate Jetpack for a minute. Now this seems to be a bad idea because now that I have activated it again, the widgets are gone. Also, I can’t choose where my other widgets are visible.

What do I do to get it back? I’d rather not reinstall it, because then I’ll lose all my subscirbers…

    Sincerely,
    Bas

Reinstalling doesn’t work either. The Jetpack widgets and options for other widgets are all gone.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

If you’d like to work on your site without emailing your subscribers, you can go to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard, and only deactivate the Subscriptions module.

Since you’ve deactivated the whole plugin, you did indeed lose some of the options you had set. You’ll need to reinstall the plugin, and then go to the Jetpack menu and reconnect the plugin to your WordPress.com account. Once you’ve done so, the Jetpack widgets and options will be back.

Let me know if it helps.
