• Hi,
After upgrading wordpress to v.5.2.2, suddenly all widgets disappeared in backend (admin > appearance > widgets). Luckily, tyhey are still visible in frontend.
May this bug be related to this version?
    Please help ??
    Thanks

  • I would have taken a look at your site but you included a bogus url.

I haven’t seen this issue myself so I’m wondering if maybe reinstalling WordPress again might fix things. You can do that right from the Dashboard’s updates page by choosing to reinstall WordPress.

Thanks @jnashhawkins , I appreciate your warm reply.
There was a conflict with this plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/schema-and-structured-data-for-wp/), I just disabled it and works fine now.

    That’s interesting.

You might try re-enabling that plugin or watching for an update from them then re-enabling it after the update. They just updated yesterday according to the plugins page though. Letting the author know this happened might help him and his other users.

I imagine you’d like that plugin to work properly also. The authors seem to be right proactive.

True @jnashhawkins , I just reported this to the plugin vendor – hope they fix it soon

    Me too.

I’m working on a project that could possibly benefit from that plugin also and something about what I read on their details page makes me think that plugin should be a good one.

I learn so much while helping out here and then discover little tidbits, tricks, and resources, too.

Let us know if you need anything else.
