Hello, I have Widgets for SiteOrigin and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle installed on my WP site. Wordfence is showing me this error: https://www.screencast.com/t/dvEKDV49C

Is Widgets for SiteOrigin gone for good? Or has it just been merged with SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle? Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

Widgets for SiteOrigin has, unfortunately, been removed from the plugin directory. Whether that on its own that makes it a critical issue is debatable. We’ve been unable to reach the author, I’m not sure what happened to Adi. Livemesh SiteOrigin Widgets is an alternative third-party plugin that you might consider in the future. Widgets for SiteOrigin has not been merged with the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. At the moment, our recommendation would be to not use Inked (Widgets for SiteOrigin) widgets for new pages. I don’t think that the situation currently necessitates going through every page and replacing Inked widgets with alternatives. However, it depends on the size of the site. If it’s a small site then the task becomes much easier. This is my opinion. We haven’t done a security audit of Widgets for SiteOrigin. We aren’t currently aware of any security issues with Widgets for SiteOrigin.

Hopefully, the above helps a little.
