WIDGETS GONE

    Hello,

    I think after either wordpress automatic update or after storefront update, the widgets in my site completely disappeared.

    Have you ever faced this problem?

    It a very problematic issue since I need to know why this happens.

  • Same here. I did find the widgets that had gone missing (they were below the normal widget list, under the heading “Inactive Widgets”. I rebuilt my sidebar and now they’re back… except for on the Front Page where the sidebar appears to have been disabled with the new update!

    Edit: Sidebar restored on the Homepage by editing the page and changing the Template from “Homepage” back to “Default Template”

    You are right! The widgets became inactive. Is this due to an update?? It’s weird because I had all updates disables, but maybe someone else run the update.

    Anyways many thanks and hope it’s taken into consideration in the future!

    Hello! I am facing same kind of problems after the update. I am using theme “Homestore” and Homepage-functionality stopped working properly. Before this update there was homepage-menu location available on the homepage, but now it stopped working. I am not able to use default-template, because Parallax Hero is linked to the homepage-functionality.
