• Hello,
I already use the classic editor. Will this plugin will be needed to leave everything like it is now? Because Classic editior doesn’t use Blocks so maybe it’s not needed to use the classic widgets?

Best regards and huge thanks in advance

  • @wordsofawriter I totally sympathize with your struggle here. But the cold hard truth is that the core team at Automattic has decided (a long time ago now) that blocks are taking over all of WordPress, and nobody has as much power as Automattic in WordPress. There’s really no stopping the train now.

For anything that is not a block (widgets, themes, shortcodes, any-other-non-block-thing-in-wordpress) people will ultimately have to rely on plugins like this one.

I agree with all the commenters. Please change it so that the old state is kept and the new has to be activated extra.
