Widgets not appearing in Sidebar

    Hi,

    Dynamic Widget is not showing the widgets in the sidebar. I have tried deactivating all the plugins and leaving only Dynamic Widget active but still it does not show.

    Widgets do show up when I deactivate Dynamic Widget. I have installed WP Commerce lately but even when it is deactivated, Dynamic Widget does not show up.

    In the past it worked perfectly.

    Any idea or possible settings to set to make it work again?

    In usual situations DW does not remove widgets at all when something goes wrong. So my guess is a rule you’ve set that removes the widgets?

    Hi Qurl,

    I haven’t set any rule myself lately. Though, I got this message in the settings page of DW:

    “When upgrading to WPEC 3.8 the Dynamic Widgets rules for WPEC are lost. The WPEC dump gives you an overview of the rules before the update.
    WARNING This only works correct when you did not add or change anything in the Dynamic Widgets rules.”

    Do I have to set the rules for DW again? Could you please advice on best procedure?

    Have you been using WP E-Commerce? When you do, there should be a link to download the tules. However, this doesn’t seem to be related to the issue you’re experiencing.

    Please check the rules you’ve set….
