widgets not editable

The link to “edit” on the widget list is so you can edit the widget code – is that what you want to do? If you are just trying to use the widget or set the widget options, look under the “Settings” menu for a link to your widget options.

If you really do want to “edit” the widget code, meaning the PHP code, you will need to change the file permissions on the server for the files you wish to edit. Somehow though I don’t think that is what you want to do.
