widgets not showing up and grumbled my website

  • Hello Guys,

    I am Richie, suffering from a problem and couldn’t get the answer from google/yahoo etc.

    So here is the scenario. I have a website https://www.abc.com (to access : https://goo.gl/Bm7e7T) in WP. I have another Sub-website in multisite style https://www.secondwebsite.abc.om(to access : https://goo.gl/WktLFP).

    What happened was my client requested me to change a word’s every occurance in https://www.secondwebsite.abc.com to something else. I tried several plugins and because i couldn’t get it done. I couldnt change things in widgets too. What I tried was I tried changing everything from backednd i.e. PHPMYADMIN. Now, when I changed things I came back and saw that my widgets stopped showing at all. and even that particular page in Dashboard is also not showing well.

    The whole site was fucked. I kept experimenting and asked backup from Hosting provider and couldn’t find anything. I then somehow managed to delete wp_options’s contents and brought it back from another running website. then managed to change things. now, i could see my widgets as were in previous but Dashboard page is still missing something as its still fucked up. -(

    what should be done?

    any suggetions???
