    New install.
Widgets not working. I enabled the accessibility, no change.
I deactivated all plugins, no change. (Installed all plugins automatically.)
Resident widgets don’t work, external widgets don’t work.
I’ve got the site set up for 3 columns, with widgets left and right, I don’t have a left column (articles/posts at far left).
I’m not a techie. Please don’t talk code, or delving into the program. I don’t have the skills.

OK, now I have TWO! HOW do I delete the theme and HOW do I get the Zip from my desktop to WP? I need a DELETE button and some sort of LOAD button.

Delete the theme from where you see it and upload the zip from install themes.

It means that you have to delete the current theme first. After that you upload the zip file of the newly downloaded theme and then install it.

    You’re not listening!
    HOW?
Delete it from where I see it. In Appearance>Themes>Manage Themes????? Where is whatever it takes to do the deleting?
If that’s where, my choices are ‘Customize Widgets, Menus, Weaver II Admin, Shortcuts + Pro, Header, and Background. Which one of them doubles as a delete key?
    If not there, then where?

Appearance > Themes. Here you will see the installed themes. Below each theme’s thumbnail you can find a red letter button Delete. So, click on that button and delete it. Clear or not?

Once you delete it go to Install Themes (Click) on the same screen. You will find there Upload as one of the options. Click on upload. Then you can see Browse and Install. Using Browse, upload the theme zip file and install it.

    No red words, no ‘delete’

I included a link in the last message but it disappeared. I tried.

How many themes do you find there? Where is your default theme? Deleted? I think you do not find the delete link because you have only one theme there. Whatever it is, if you do not find delete button there, you can upload via FTP or your hosting control panel.

There’s two other themes there, with delete buttons, but if I hit the delete button on either of them, that won’t delete this theme, it will delete the theme the delete key is hitched to. THIS theme doesn’t have a delete button.

    Can you do this?
Change to any other theme. That theme will replace the current one and Weaver will show the delete button. Then delete it, and install the fresh copy.

Theme install has failed. This is what happened when my husband had me install the theme after he fixed the virus thing. It failed when I tried it – it worked when he did it.

    Now what?

    Thread Starter Dayna Leigh Cheser

    (@dayna-leigh-cheser)

    Installing Theme: Weaver II 1.1.5

    Downloading install package from https://www.ads-software.com/extend/themes/download/weaver-ii.1.1.5.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/71/8804471/html/wp-content/themes/weaver-ii/

    Theme install failed.

I may be able to fix this.

    1. Log off, turn off your computer, restart computer and login and try again.

    2. If that fails, upload via FTP (program like FileZilla) or through hosting control panel.

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/71/8804471/html/wp-content/themes/weaver-ii/

    Theme install failed.

I repeated a few times to delete the existing theme before reinstalling.

I just knocked the Weaver II theme off GoDaddy’s servers manually. I did this a LOT because I had so many themes get locked up or go corrupt or other problems on me over the last several months.

The theme is in and activated.
