Widgets not working with the new version 4.0

If you mean this:

define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);

It goes in your wp-config.php file just below the define('DB_HOST' line.

I followed Ricardo Zea’s instructions (6 comments above this one) and it worked perfectly. Copied all files/folders from WP 4.0 download folder, except wp-content folder, to FTP root folder. Refreshed my browser window and now I can drag and drop. Thanks Richardo!

I also followed Ricardo’s instructions and have broken my widgets page entirely I’m afraid.

The page fails to load in its entirety, while at the same time not firing any obvious php errors. The page stops loading at the end of inactive widgets, so I’m assuming it is failing to load from Sidebars onwards.

Nothing is getting written to the php error logs so I can’t find the problem via those.

I’ve deactivated all plugins – no joy.
I’ve deactivated my custom theme – no joy.

Any ideas?
