widgets on select pages.

Did a google search but cant find anything.

I am setting up a new wordpress theme and upgrading an older site. The older site had content in the sidebar that works only on certain pages. I want to same thing but want to update how it works with widgets.

The old code used php if (is_page(14)) codes that made content only appear on certain pages. Is there anyway to do this with the new dynamic sidebars and widgets?

Everything I need to do is doable in widgets I just can’t get them to be selective.
