Widgets page not responding

    Hi,

    We have had the plugin activated on our site for a while now and everything was working fine. However, starting just about a month ago, the Widgets page seems to be loading extremely slowly or not responding at all.

    Any ideas on how we should go about solving this issue?

  • Hey, Danita, I’m another Classic Widgets user.

    Did the slowdown coincide with a plugin or an update to your current theme?

    I would recommend making a staging version of your site, and see if you’re having any speed issues on the staging version of the site.

    If you’re not having speed issues on the staging version of your site, then it could be that your server is slow.

    To fully determine where the issue come from, I would also recommend deactivating plugins one by one to see if that fixes the issue, and switching your current theme, if that doesn’t fix the issue as well.
