Widgets Page not working

  • I am transferring all my stuff to Hostgator and when I transferred it over, my widgets page wasn’t working. WHat’s happening. No drag and drop feature.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    But I fixed it. You need to use Google Libraries, specifically the Use Google AJAX Libraries plugin for this. It uses Google’s updated version rather than the version WordPress uses, which is pretty outdated. There should be lots of backwards compatibility.
