My website uses Polylang Pro to handle multilingual pages. Ever since a recent Events upgrade (don’t know when exactly), the widget’s link is incorrect on both French and English pages

In French, the link should be mywebsite.ca/fr/events, but instead it is mywebsite.ca/(fr)/events.
In English it should be mywebsite.ca/events, but it is also mywebsite.ca/(fr)/events.

I reverted to Twenty Twenty One theme, and the problem didn’t go away.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @joanneburek
Thanks for reaching out and for your patience. I’m sorry about this issue.

I took at look at your site in both English and French, plus I visited the Events page and a single Event page. It looks like you fixed the issue. Great job!

I’m not sure which version of our plugins you are on, but we have been introducing new Views in our plugin.

We don’t directly interface with Polylang, and typically sites using this plugin discover a setting that needs adjustment.

You did a wonderful job troubleshooting step by testing the theme. To add to that, you can test plugin conflicts to further narrow down the cause using our Conflict Guide here.

    Thanks
