• If I add new widget in the Text widet in Primary Widget Area and anywhere in the code is a single Latvian letter (ā, ?, ē, ?, ī, ?, ?, ?, ?, ū, ?), then this widget doesn’t show up at all. I have to encode all Latvian letters as HTML entities. Please fox this bug! See my blog https://www.macpasaule.lv as example. At the bottom of the right side column is one Accordance advertisement and Kroko advertisement. Both title (Reklāma) and Kroko links contain Latvian letters. Until all of them were encoded as HMTL entities WordPress didn’t show anything there…

It’s probably whatever encoding your using for your SQL database. You may have to change that. IIRC, utf-8 doesn’t ‘know’ special characters.

SQL is using utf-8. Everything’s fine in the blog itself, just plugin doesn’t work as expected.
