Widgets won’t stay in Admin Section

Hello all,

I have built my own custom theme in wordpress, using the default theme as my “go to” when I’m not sure of something. I’ve added three more sidebar areas, as well as kept the original. I’ve added the necessary code in functions.php and they work fine when I update them, but as soon as I leave the widgets admin area and come back, they disappear. This only happens on the admin side, the front end isn’t affected unless I change something on the “blank” admin side.

Any ideas?
