    Hello

We noticed that when replacing an image with the second option, the width and height attributes of img tags are not updated. These values are set automatically when inserting an image using the classic editor. If the new image has a different aspect ratio and these attributes are not updated, the image is distorted and the srcset attribute is missing. We could solve the first problem with CSS, for the second one we are still looking for a solution.

Shouldn’t these attributes be updated automatically when replacing an image with the second option?

    Kind regards
    Daniel

    Hey Daniel,

    Thanks for your message.

Unfortunately Enable Media Replace will not solve that. Using the second option you replace the physical file, change the file name and update the links on your site, nothing else. EMR will not modify the rest of your HTML code (which includes the width and height attributes).

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Best,
