width editor vs site

Hi all,
playing with the new 2022 theme, something strange happens:

In home template, query loop, there is a group with title, date, picture and excerpt. This elements all have the same width (full width). However, when I save en look at the real site, the exceprt is much wider then the picture. It looks like the text is 100% of the view port but the picture isn’t.
This doesn’t happen in the post template.

Any ideas?
