    Hi,

I am getting this error when uploading images over 6000px :

Imsanity was unable to resize this image for the following reason: width or height exceeds limit `/nas/content/live/alpineprop/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/IGLOO2-1-3.jpg’ @ error/cache.c/OpenPixelCache/3839. If you continue to see this error message, you may need to install missing server components. If you think you have discovered a bug, please report it on the Imsanity support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/imsanity

Any ideas? hosted on WP Engine.

    Thanks

That’s because ImageMagick is configured not to permit handling such large images on your system.
If I’m looking at things right, the default limit is 16,000px, so if you can’t upload a 6,000px image, that’s likely because WP Engine has (smartly) put limits in place to avoid the enormous amount of memory required to handle such an image.
You’ll need to contact WP Engine to see if they can raise those limits. Or just stop uploading such ludicrously over-sized images ??

    Hi nosilver4u,

Thanks for this, these are property images so are going to be large they are a client and dont know a lot about image resizing so they want it all automated which is understandable I will get on to the hosts and see what they say I thought this was the case but they said it wasn’t!

Thanks will let you know outcome
