wierd result after moving my wp files to root

  • Hi,

    I recently moved my wp files from

    https://www.mysite.com/wordpress to https://www.mysite.com

    Everything seems to be working fine except for my wp-content/uploads. When I tried to delete the wordpress/wp-content/uploads folder I lose all my images.

    The same images are in the mysite/wp-content/uploads folder so I know they copied over ok.

    my settings in my dashboard seem to be correct:
    settings>misc setting>Store uploads in this folder> wp-content/uploads

    Any ideas why I may be having this issue? Thanks!!
