    Hello,
I have all of my widgets active appeance-widgets dashboard however when I view my website none of the wigets are visible. They may be covered underneath the theme image. How can I make the widgets visible on the website? In my sidebar.php I have the coding <?php if ( !function_exists(‘dynamic_sidebar’) || !dynamic_sidebar() ) : ?>
    and its not helping.

    Thank you for your help!

    Tom

    1. Do you have a live link to the site in question?
    2. What Theme are you using?
    3. What Widgets do you have active?

If you remove the Widgets, do you see the default/fallback content?

Yes I see the default content of the theme with or without the widgets active. I hope I understood your question.

But do you see the default content of the dynamic sidebar when you remove the Widgets? The default sidebar content appears to be Categories, Archives, and Blogroll.

(Note: I just did a test install; the Widgets work just fine for me.)

Yes there is no problem with the dynamic sidebar. It just is not showing on the website. I may of edited the sidebar.php and the style.css although I reinstalled the originial and still have the problem. I was trying to change them because at one point the search bar that they put in the top of the theme was on top of some of my header menus.

Is there a way to reistall the theme without losing the content that might solve it?
