Wiki Post Titles Not Displaying on Single Pages

    Hello,

    I am using the Yada Wiki plugin to create a custom post type for wiki articles. While the plugin is working well overall, I am encountering an issue where the title of each wiki article does not display on the single post page.

    I am wondering if this issue is related to my theme (I am using the Scientia theme) or if it is something that needs to be adjusted in the custom post type settings. I have checked my theme’s single.php template file but I am unsure if I need to create a separate template like single-wiki.php for the wiki post type to display the title.

    Could you please advise me on how to ensure that the titles of my wiki articles are properly displayed?

    Hi @aikker – That is a nice looking theme. Unfortunately I don’t own it and there isn’t a free version. Looking at their docs it seems like on posts the title shows on the featured image. Just as an experiment you could try uploading a featured image for a wiki post and see if it showed the title. In case you don’t see the option for a featured image, the option can sometimes be hidden. Here is a screenshot showing where the option is: https://share.zight.com/wbuqBBe7

    Yada Wiki doesn’t suppress the title or anything like that. I see the titles on my test site. This is a theme option. If you are comfortable with code, you could create a template as you suggested and customize it as you want.
