Using complianz on many of our sites on various hosts (Flywheel, WPX, Siteground, WP Engine, etc.); we use Elementor Pro. The trouble is, at random times, but always consistently once it starts, the plugin seemingly redirects the user to totally random pages on the site. You go back to the dashboard, BOOM! A new random page appears. The only way to stop the behavior is if you can get to the Plugins page and deactivate Complianz *before* it redirects you again. Please help, otherwise we love this plugin!

I think that you have some JavaScript active on the site which tries to prevent an iframe from loading the site by reloading the site in the parent Iframe. Best practice in such cases is to use a frame ancestors or x-frame options header instead.

Because the cookie scan loads several front-end pages in an iframe, such a script will cause this behavior when the scan runs in the background: when page x is loaded in an iframe during the scan when visiting the dashboard, it reloads in the parent, causing a redirect to page x.

To resolve it you can remove the JavaScript which handles this, and use the mentioned security headers instead.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Small update: when I disabled another plugin, Complianz stopped misbehaving, so I’m quite sure you’re right. Thank you for your help!
