Will CDN Help

I’m currently achieving page speed grade B (81%) and C (74%)using GTmetrix . My home page is taking 2.82s to load and the total page size is 1.53MB with 144 requests.
The question is would CDN improve my load time and if so which CDN paid or free would you recommend? My site is https://www.howdoidate.com.
