Will Changing the template affect rankings

  • Hi,

    I’m looking to Change a high ranking website from it’s current form (not sure what its made in) into WordPress as it looks awful and needs a facelift. The site is https://www.latebreaks.com

    I’m new to the WordPress arena and I would be very interested in ways to keep this site ranked high while I build a new site I,e. Dos and donts

    Any helpful lessons learnt would be great.

    Yes, template will affect your SEO ranking because each template implement different html structure and not every theme designer are good with on-page SEO.

    Perhaps investing in some SEO friendly premium theme will help your ranking.
