Will Current SEO be Overridden or Wiped After Installing Yoast SEO?

  • Hi, I’m recommending SEO by Yoast to most of my clients. I noticed that when I installed the last Pro version into a clients site, all the previous 2 months SEO work got wiped from all the pages, titles, descriptions etc., then I had to start again.

    Is this standard for a new install? Is there a way of downloading / keeping whatever the current SEO title, descriptions etc. are so there not lost?

    Any info about this would be a good thing as I haven’t found any from searches in this forum or anywhere else …. unless of course I’m missing something.
