Will duplicate posts break a RSS feed?

    I am wondering if duplicate posts will break a RSS feed.

    I have a RSS feed set up at my website to grab everything and put it into a RSS feed. I have 17 posts, (items) that should be in the rss feed but only 10 are showing. I know this because I am reading the raw rss (xml) file itself.

    Both posts 1 (which is the first item in the RSS feed) and the 11th post (which should be the 11th item in the rss feed) are duplicates. So the RSS feed only shows posts 1 through 10 and stops. Hence my question; will duplicate posts break a rss feed? If so, how can I get around this or can I?
