Will Facebook Threads and Twitter X icons be available?

    I see that Font Awesome has added both the new Facebook Threads and Twitter X icons to their version 6.4.2. It appears that this WordPress plugin uses version 6.2.1.

    Are there plans to update the version in the plugin so that users can have access to these new and popular icons?

  • I’m looking for this too. May look into the plugins code and see if I can manually update it until it’s official.

    I’ve deactivated the plugin and added my own header links. Simple.

    @turkeybucket and @theape, this plugin can be used to load any version of Font Awesome 6 (and most versions of Font Awesome 5). It is not locked to Font Awesome 6.2.1. In fact, if you use it with a kit, it will use whatever version of Font Awesome that kit is configured to use. That could even be “6.x”, which causes it to always, automatically use the latest version of Font Awesome 6.
