Will GZIP compression be enabled if I uninstall the plugin?

    Hi again
    If i want GZIP compression always on, can I delete the plugin once the compression is enabled? I mean, do i need the plugin to keep gzip compression enabled?

    Hi antoniomc,

    You need to keep the plugin to keep gzip compression active. A solution would be to add the compression code yourself in the htaccess. Furthermore, the plugin doesn’t use much resources when you disable the alert which shows you the compression status.
