I have been using Lightweight Subscribe To Comments for many years. It seems the plugin is no longer updated. Will this plugin import the current subscriptions from the Lightweight Subscribe To Comments data?

    Thank you,

No, so far an import of subscriptions from other plugins is not available since every plugin uses its own data structure to store subscriptions. It might be possible to implement an import procedure, but this will likely take a couple of hours of work to do (analyze the code of the other plugin to see how data was stored, building test cases etc.). If you are interested in sponsoring this work, let me know. I can also be contacted via e-mail, see https://arnowelzel.de/en/about-me for the contact address.

I am going to bother you again. I installed the plugin and it seems to be working for the new subscriptions to comments. I have located where to find the comment subscribers. Is it possible to have someone be removed from the comment subscription in the WordPress dashboard? Can the user unsubscribe from the comments?

    Thank you,

Deleting comment subscriptions in the backend is not available yet, maybe this will be added with a future update.

However users can always delete themself when they get a notification mail. The mail also contains a link to unsubscribe from further notifications.

Thank you for your quick reply, a rarity these days! It may be a good feature to add if possible.
