Will it stay on the WordPress version I chose even after WordPress permanently?

    The plugin saved my site after a recent WordPress update killed it. But my question is about the future. I hate Gutenberg. I want to stay on the Classic Editor., even after WordPress forces Gutenberg at the end of 2022. Can I permanently remain on the WordPress version I have chosen as best for my site?
