Will it support Variable Product?

Excellent question, it does not appear that it does, which needs to be corrected for this to really be useful for us.

I’ve not been able to get it to work with variable pricing.

If you set a member price, it will use that price for all variations.

You can set a global discount that works with variable products, but that does not allow you much control.
