Will not activate

    I tried to install the plugin, but it would not activate for whatever reason. I did deactivate other pop up plugins I used in the past as I thought maybe these were conflicting, but no go. Will not activate. Any advice? I use the free version of this plugin and wanted to try it out first to see how it works with my mailchimp newsletters.

    Hi Sasa,

    Are you getting any specific error messages when trying to activate the plugin? Do you happen to know which PHP version your site is running?

    The Boxzilla plugin requires PHP 5.3 or later to function. Your webhost should be able to update you to a more recent PHP version (7.0 is current) within a few minutes for them, which gives you a range of benefits like a much more performant website, better security & the ability to run the Boxzilla plugin.

    I’d ask your webhost what your site’s PHP version is and whether they can update you to a newer version (they really should).
